As usual, the idea of each of these interviews is to get some ideas for you to implement your own trading strategies and your own trading philosophy by talking to other traders about how they approach the markets. Today, we're going to be speaking with Justin Maciuk and he is a trader that I met at the Traders' Expo in Los Angeles in Pasadena just a few weeks ago. We're going to talk to Justin about how he approaches the markets and how he got into this as well. So, Justin, thanks very much for joining us on the show today.
Justin Maciuk: Yeah, thanks for having me, Tim.
TraderInterviews.com: Well, talk about how you got into trading in the first place?
Justin Maciuk: I'm young. I'm 20 years about but about a couple of years ago, I started early with just not really being in touch with the markets at all. I'm just buying stock and just kind of let it ride, see how that works out. But later on in 2007, I kind of got introduced through my buddy, got a more interactive platform that worked for me really well, and just focused more on technical analysis and started with that and from that, I just went from stock to trading options and then eventually to where I'm at right now, trading the S&P Eminis. So, that's kind of how I got started.
TraderInterviews.com: Talk about how you find opportunities in the S&P Eminis. You talked about being a technical trader. What kind of things do you look for in charts?
Justin Maciuk: Right. Basically, I don't necessarily try to find chart patterns because I trade on the five-minute. And what I'll do is I trade which not...maybe you're familiar with this. It's called the value area, otherwise known as the market profile. And basically what that is it's...
