I would really like you to ask each trader what percentage of their trades are winners. Sometimes it comes up, but I think you should make it a point to ask all of them as it helps us listeners understand the trader's strategy.
It is my observation that your winning percentage is only a function of your AW/AL ratio, that is Average Winner and Loser. Some traders win 2/10 trades, but they are looking for the BIG runner. Others scalp or take small profits and win 7/10 times, but their winners are smaller. I've found in my own trading I win 40-50 percent of the time and all my losses are kept to a specified amount or smaller. Keeping track of you AW/AL and P/L per trade is a great way to monitor your progress and develop your strategy.
